
MM2 - Melbourne To Melbourne; via The Great Ocean Rd & The Grampians.
Duration: 2 Days, 1 Night
Departing your city hotel in Melbourne approximately 7:30am we firstly travel over the Westgate
Bridge then along the shores of Port Phillip Bay to Geelong, Victoria's 2nd largest city. Leaving
Geelong we join the Great Ocean Road to firstly visit beautiful Torquay, then heading onwards to
Anglesea and Lorne as we enjoy the coastal cliffs and scenery.
We then travel a short distance into the rainforest and hinterland at Kennett River, and view some
of Australia's native flora and fauna, before our lunch destination of Apollo Bay.
Leaving Apollo Bay we travel into the Otway Ranges National Park, enjoying more spectacular scenery with some
giant Mountain Ash forests, and here we may view some koalas. We then head into Port Campbell National Park where
time and the Southern Ocean have created some spectacular rock formations - The famous Twelve Apostles and Lock
Ard Gorge to name a few before arriving in Warrnambool for our overnight stay.

We head to Tower Hill National Park where a lake within is an extinct volcano and one of Australia's best places
to have a close encounter with koalas and other native wildlife. We travel through rich farming land to Dunkeld
before entering the Grampians National Park and enjoying in the luxury of our 4WD vehicle numerous back tracks
through the park, and lunch.
During the afternoon, we head through the wilderness of Redman Bluff through Ararat to Ballarat, a grand Victorian
city, well known for its historic goldfields and early Australian architecture. We have an afternoon tea break in
Ballarat before returning to Melbourne for approximately 6pm.
Tour departs Melbourne 7:30am every Wednesday and Saturday all year around.
